AMROTH BEACH

Amroth beach is located on the South Pembrokeshire coast between the towns of Saundersfoot and Pendine. Probably best known as being the start or finish of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, Amroth beach is a sand and pebble beach with a Blue Flag Award (2007) and excellent water quality. The beach is popular for swimming, windsurfing and fishing. There are toilets (very handy if you have just completed the Pembrokeshire Coast Path) including disabled facilities a cafe and restaurant three good pubs and there is a slipway to the beach for boat launching. There is a lifeguard during the summer months. It is possible to walk either to Marros beach or Tenby via Wisemans Bridge and Saundersfoot at certain times of the tide.
